Ingredients for the dough:

  • Cinnamon – to taste

Ingredients for the sauce:

  • Apricot jam – 130 g
  • Cherry brandy – 20 g
  • Water – + – 20 g

Cooking method:

  1. Peel a squash, grate it and slice it.
  2. Fry the apples over low heat with butter. When tender, add sugar and cinnamon.
  3. Cut the bread crusts and cut them into 3 cm wide strips, adjusting the height to the height of your shape. Make a circle of 6 equal segments with the bread according to the size of the bottom.
  4. Cover the form with parchment. In the melted butter, first soak the pieces of the bottom on one side, then the strips and spread them 1 cm on top of each other.
  5. Let the apples cool and mix with the breadcrumbs.
  6. Mix the jam, water and brandy and put it on the fire.
  7. Roll out a layer of apples, squeezing well, then some breadcrumbs, sauce and cover it all with apples, squeezing well with a slide.
  8. Cover the charlotte with foil and bake for 40 minutes. at 190 degrees.
  9. Strain the sauce, remove the charlotte and let it rest for 5 minutes, then turn it over on a plate and spread with sauce.
