Shakshuka is a wonderful dish that can be prepared for breakfast. Chef-pastry chef and participant of “MasterChef. Professionals” Kateryna Peskova shared with us her recipe for shakshuka. More details in the material.

Ingredients:

  • ous – 34 units.
  • water – 300 ml
  • tomato paste – 1 tbsp. l.
  • coriander
  • turmeric
  • star
  • paprika
  • sal
  • pepper
  • honey
  • Chile
  • coriander
  • basil
  • onion – 1/2 unit.
  • red pepper – 1 unit.
  • tomatoes – 400 g
  • olive oil

Method of elaboration: ⠀

  1. Grab a nice pan, because shakshuka is traditionally served in a pan.
  2. Over high heat, fry the onions and red peppers in olive oil.
  3. Add spices: coriander, celery, paprika, turmeric, chili.
  4. Add the tomatoes and a tablespoon of tomato paste.
  5. Fill everything with water and simmer for 15 minutes.
  6. Add honey or sugar (you can add fresh basil leaves).
  7. Make holes in the dough and break the eggs. Prepare until a rusty, still liquid state.
  8. Garnish with coriander.
